Pokémon Center plush
Poké Doll
PitaPoké
Company: Takara Tomy
Year: 2012 Country: Japan This one has a bit of a story! As you may know, PitaPoké are notorious for popping off of their bases. This happened with the cleat from this set (piece on the left), and then my cat knocked it off the shelf, after which it seemingly vanished. I was very distraught about losing a piece from the set, and put it back in its packaging to prevent losing any more pieces. A few years later, I randomly found the missing cleat while cleaning my room. I am very happy to have the complete set again! |
Fresh Water mascot plush
Company: Pokémon Center
Year: 2019 Country: Japan This plush is from a promotion featuring every first-stage water starter (generations 1-7), designed by artist F*Kaori and named after the "fresh water" item in the games. (technically it's "delicious water", which is the Japanese name for the same item, but I like the English version better.) F*Kaori's artwork was also the basis for the Saiko Soda and Mix au Lait promotions, merchandise of which can be seen on my Espeon page. |

Plush backpack
Company: Accessory Innovations
Year: 2011-12 Country: United States "Backpack" is being a bit generous; it's really a big plush with a small pocket in the back. Couldn't fit much more than a cell phone, lol. It's really cute and well made though. I bought this from a local toy store (which is now closed) during the BW hype. At first I had no idea about the company and year since I cut the tags off immediately after purchasing him. (sigh.) Through a little help from a fellow Oshawott collector, I was able to track down what I believe is the correct info! |
